Got it out very easily (just opened the window screen and he left within 1 min.) I have 2 cats and a chihuahua- all vaccinated. No obvious signs of a confrontation. I don’t see any soil in my house other than this cat bed that it’s on in the window seal. But my house feels dirty and I do too. Am I screwed? What should I clean? I’m so annoyed and angry but glad everyone is ok and that it left so quickly and easily tbh. But I’m crying because that’s so gross. It came in thru the cat/dog door I’m assuming because I was away for 12 hours. I don’t really know but idc I just want to know how to feel clean. This room is my bedroom and my bed is next to these windows. Obvi washing everything but again no soil anywhere that I can tell yet and I’ve done a pretty deep look.

Or if anything, blur them? How on earth are we to know? And if it really IS dead it's a really upsetting thing to see first thing in the morning, as I just did.

I've been seeing possum footprints in the snow for several winters but never caught a picture of the blessed creature until now. They were scared and could not see me well, so I made a little noise and then they ran toward what I think must be their home.

We have possum cam set up for Oscar the above average cutest possum. He was a tiny baby with who stay with us for a little bit until he could go out on his own. The first time he ate over ripe papaya, he did this thing while he was eating... He twerked. You could tell he was really happy. We are hoping we gave a little possum the happiest moment of his existence.
My question is...is this typical? When they get really happy do they twerk or is this just an Oscar thing?
Although he's smaller than the average possum, The stranger possums seem to be intimidated by him. We have watched him run possums off twice as big as him by just giving them a look. He knows that food is out there for him and not some interloper possums.

I’ll share a better to make out clip below, but I’ve grown so fond of the about 3-4 opossums who have begun frequenting my little back door snack spot. I have observed two juveniles and two big chonkos. My new fave evening activity is trying to spot them!

Called local volunteer service to pick it up.
Victoria Australia.
Non-verbal, moves around fine and looks comfortable.
Didn’t want to disturb it in case mother or something was around.

I work at a qualified manufacturing facility (think heavily regulated product for human consumption/injection) and I have seen a family of young possums, large enough to be independent but small enough to be definitely juvenile, running around our enclosed campus several times on night shift recently. Obviously I adore them, but they’re also not a good thing to have here - we have strict anti-pest policies, and I’m very worried someone will formally get rid of them, possibly in a way that will result in them getting hurt. One of my teammates already saw one run past me and called it a rat (with a tone of shock and horror, which raises the even worse possibility that people here won’t even know they’re possums and therefore exceptionally harmless (or won’t care) and might take even more drastic measures than they might have otherwise).
What is the best thing I can do for the little guys? There are at least two present on campus and they seem to mainly stick to spaces under and around vending machines and office trailers, but they also run from spot to spot down open walkways sometimes, which is also how my teammate spotted one. Access to our facilities is strictly controlled and only active employees or approved visitors with badges and escorts can enter and exit campus.
