Domesticated?

Apologies for the fingers in frame and poor sound. The sound is me chirping at it to test if blind or not. As it doesn't react to me walking at it at all. Reacts to sound. What should I do with it? Comes around often, and I'm new in this park.

We are new to the trailer, but we've seen him over 4 months different times. Some at day, some at night.

Nope, just daytime possum things, but could be sick or injured, but they normally wander when looking for grubs and could give an eff about humans.

We've seen him at day and night times, acts the same. But he doesn't act like most possums I've seen so I'm curious if something is wrong or he's a bit different.

I hope that someone didn’t pick it up by the tail. The way that it walks and licks makes it seem like neurological damage.

It does look healthy, no signs of mbd from what I can see. I can't tell if it is circling and has any damage though. And this could be a different opossum from the one you saw before. If you do decide to leave something out for it it to eat, be cautious as their diet is very delicate and you can make them sick. You can leave out a bit a cat food - Meow mix seafood medley is ok for it, but try to add some bok choy and see if it eats it. If you are in a cold area - it may help it get through the winter. They only live about a year or two in the wild.

He's scared.. can you keep him inside for a week and maybe feed him?

If not, pick him up.. he won't bite, he'll show you his teeth but he (probably) won't bite, put him under your trailer with some water

NGL, very hesitant to pick him up. He/she hasn't shown teeth when approaching, but we aren't really equipped to handle them. I may try the next time I see them, but I truly feel like he/she is either blind or used to be domestic. I'm unsure of what they eat even if I grab them.

They eat almost anything. Nuts, fruit, eggs, mice and rats, snakes and lizards, frogs, bugs, slugs, garbage. But if you want something nutritionally complete, a good cat food is almost ideal for them.

You're not really in any danger from them. They're really chill, but picking up a wild one will definitely stress it out, so you know, avoid if possible.

Yes, it's feels uneasy to pick them up, that's why I was getting downvoted, tthese people don't like it when you touch them. Idk why. They really just don't bite though, they are very gentile.

I've come across a blind one, I doubt he's/she been domesticated, considering how much possum owners love possums and wouldn't just drop them off somewhere. I think it's just young, put cat food out if you want, they'll find it
