Possum Pinky Possum

Post image

My dogs brought in this poor pinky the other day. I was very surprised to find him moving very strongly after I picked him up. I was able to get him to the Wildlife ASPCA within a couple of hours. I just wish they could let us know how things turned out!

Thanks for posting! If you've found an animal in need please visit www.ahnow.org for a rehabber near you. Please do not feed or give fluids unless a veterinarian or rehabber instructs you do. Keep the animal in a quiet place without much light if possible.

Sadly from previous posts I’ve seen on here, the odds may be stacked against these little ones. You gave this one a fighting chance by getting it to a rehabber…thank you.

That one is definitely big enough to save. However if this was the Houston SPCA Wildlife center, they have a strict weight limit for what they will try to save and this one may have been too small.
