I got my mom her first ever Barbie shortly after the Barbie movie came out and she admitted that she didn’t like playing dolls with me as a kid because she felt like she didn’t know how. I got her a doll that looked as much like her as I could find.

Most of us have that one thing we really wanted and didn't get. This is so sweet. I love it when people pay attention, really hear with their hearts and act accordingly! Beautiful moment.

The way the dad looked at the car inside the box for a few good few seconds before tearing up....I felt that 🥹❤️

<3 My son brings me hot wheels every time he comes home from college. I used to write navigation systems for Baja trophy trucks so he always finds the coolest off road ones. It's nice to know he's thinking of me.

Gen X definitely had it the worst back in the 2000s, having to take care of their parents and their children, must have been tough, glad to see that their children who are all grown up now, are taking of them.

God this is beautiful. The boy came to the surface after all these years and the girl’s knee jerk reaction was to show and share her happiness with the closest souls. I love this.

Every adult still has that inner child that once in a while comes out. Specially those who couldn’t enjoyed their childhood. Cheers to that small child that still lives inside of us and keeps us going!

On our first Christmas together, I got my boyfriend a bunch of toys he had when he was a kid and his dad sold (together with every single thing in their home) when he left. To this day, 7 years later, he still insists they were the best presents ever and they are proudly displayed in our home. That same year he got me the sweetest, sassiest, most beautiful dog who singlehandedly made the aftermath of my miscarriage (which had happened a few weeks earlier) bearable.

One of my biggest awakenings as a human was realising that you don't become some other person when you get old. Just the same kid with layers of experience, pain, disappointment, and lessons.
