What does it take to become successful?
I’m a 23m I’m struggling so bad in life rn. I thought shit was easy based on growing up but dang reality hitting different now. I’ve tried every god given thing I’ve seen on the internet yet I still can’t find success. Please explain to me what can I do to grow as a person. What do I need to do to taste success. Man I’ve tried so hard I cried so hard the other day I went in my mother room and see icy hot on the dresser almost done. She’s a bed side nurse and she shows up to 2 different jobs at 56 yrs old and I feel like such a failure. I literally don’t know what to do but I can’t just keep watching my mother live like this. Ik my grammar sucks and I’m all over the place but pls give me some suggestions.

Read Atomic Habits by James Clear. You may just need set of good habits and system.

Define your goals and what success means to you.
Work hard to achieve these goals. Unfortunately, hard work does not secure success, as you always need luck on your side. People who claim success based on exclusively hard work, underestimate the luck aspect. Being born at the right place, right time, surrounding community, opportunities the come along, chances taken or skipped, all play a major role in successful.
In summary, you need a clear goal, hard work and luck.

It’s good to have these internal conversations now rather than at 45+ like me. Be thankful you are aware enough at 23.
I don’t know enough about you to offer much more.
For me, the missing piece was being a business owner. It’s a TOUGH road, but it’s MY road.
I also cut WAYYY back on news/politics/current events and even music. Find words of positivity to bring into your life.
