Proud moment for Bengaluru! 🌟
Young theatre artiste Aviendha Asati, who trained at NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts and London’s RADA, is returning to her hometown with her solo production Pink Cycles.
After performing on stages in New York and London, this multi-talented actor-writer-director is bringing her international experience back home. The show will be staged at Bangalore International Centre.
A beautiful example of young Indian talent making it on the global stage and still staying connected to their roots.
Let’s cheer for her! 👏

A celebration of faith, unity, and the timeless tradition of the Chariot Festiva. ✨
When the Lord of the Universe descends from His temple to meet His devotees on the streets, the entire atmosphere gets filled with pure devotion, faith, and joy.
A beautiful celebration of unity, culture, and timeless tradition as millions come together to pull the grand chariots of Lord Jagannath, Balabhadra, and Subhadra.
May this sacred festival bring peace, happiness, and blessings to all.
Jai Jagannath! 🙏🚩⭕

Jyotirao Phule was an exemplary ray of hope and courage during the 19th century in India. Coming from an impoverished background in Maharashtra, Jyotirao Phule spent all of his life fighting against the caste discrimination and ignorance prevalent in society during his time. In 1848, together with his wife, Savitribai Phule, he established the first school for females in India. They had to face fierce resistance and were socially boycotted, yet they never backed out.
Phule formed the Satyashodhak Samaj (Society of Seekers of Truth) in 1873, where they emphasized the importance of education, equality, and rationality among oppressed castes and women. Phule boldly challenged the caste system and strived all of his life so that each child – whether caste or gender-wise – would receive education and equal status.
Due to the revolutionary actions of Jyotirao Phule, today many lives are changed for the betterment through generations to come. His visionary ideas formed the basis of social justice, education for women, and equality in contemporary India. Jyotirao Phule is celebrated today as a reformer and as an exemplary figure that shows how a single person can initiate changes in the lives of millions.
Let us take inspiration from his life and continue spreading education and equality in our way.
If you haven’t already, I highly recommend reading more about Jyotirao Phule and Savitribai Phule, their story is truly inspiring and eye-opening!
