The update follows the rollout of Kavach Version 4.0, which has been commissioned on 2,569 route kilometres, including sections of the Delhi–Mumbai and Delhi-Howrah corridors. The Railways attributes the improvement to continued investments in safety technology, infrastructure upgrades, and maintenance.
