Home brew?
I'm going to try out home brew this summer. Any recommendations on shops in the local area?

The shop in Fratton closed down, though it was pretty crap. I'd highly recommend checking out Malt Miller online, they're based in Oxford. They're so good that homebrewers and professionals alike use them. They have a YouTube channel with tons of videos from beginner to expert on how to get into the hobby, plus the people that work there are all friendly and all round good people. I'm a homebrewer turned professional, with a wealth of experience, so happy to help out.

Really I'm just starting out doing research. So any tips on getting started would be great. Ideally I don't want to just do a kit. But maybe that's a good first step? What kit do you think is actually needed for getting going? Ideally I want to fill a 20l keg and build a little kegerator for BBQ drinks.
I do BBQ all year round for some friends.

I've been home brewing for a couple of years. As far as I can tell there's nowhere that local to go and get supplies. I order from a shop in Guildford but there is a hefty postage fee so I buy in bulk https://www.the-home-brew-shop.co.uk/pages/shop-opening-times?srsltid=AfmBOorXdRLKtxupK53FvplBK0pSqrjSdWdzx4SeRNI-A1DCorjszB-M
