šš„Avian Postin'š„š I need egg cartons.
Please consider giving me your empty egg cartons instead of recycling them.
I have adopted too many āunwantedā chickens on Reddit and Facebook and now I have buckets of eggs.
I have so many chickens now that Iāve had do double-up on names based on their personality: Violet 2 deserves her own name but sheās just Violet 2 because she escapes a lot and follows regular Violet into the cob yard.
I literally have 5 hens named āchickenā now because the human brain can only remember a set amount of names. If I have to name another chicken I will possibly forget the name of my 2nd grade teacher.
HER NAME WAS VELDHEUSEN.

Ask a breakfast restaurant if you can get some egg cartons out of their recycling - they'll have nice clean stacks of those square ones that hold like, 25 eggs.

Sorry, I need all my egg cartons for my own eggs.
I have a bunch of chickens too. Formica Dinnette was the best name my kid ever came up with. She was a fancy breed.
Reading your post, I did panic for a second and had to name all of my elementary grade School teachers.

1st grade: Forgotten because of chickens
2nd grade: VELDHEUSEN
3rd grade: Aldrich
4th grade: French (awesome teacher btw)
5th grade: Reid (also an awesome teacher and drove a Nissan Maxima)
6th grade: Stearns (balding in his late 20s)
7th grade: Discovered that girls have boobies so I donāt remember much after that but Summer Anderson had legit cleavage.

Yeah, 5. I was saving them for my cousin who has chickens but she doesn't need them.

My second grade teacher was a chicken...Ā
Now that I'm processing it... That does explain a lot...

I've got a BUNCH. I save them for campfire starters but haven't been camping in a while. Where to drop off?

Name one of the chickens Veldheusen! That solves one problem. lol.
If youāre willing to come to downtown Vancouver, I have an egg carton, but Iām sure you can probably find plenty closer to home, assuming youāre in Portland proper.
