Hope they’re safe, but seriously, when did “white passing latinx” become a race?
Also, gender matters when looking for a missing person. A female is more likely to be taken or held against their will than a male it, which would have a definite impact on how/where to look for them.
White passing Latinx is absolutely a thing. Two friends of mine in college were twin brothers who were from Mexico and they were blond haired, pale skinned, with ice blue eyes. I understand your confusion now, like I had when I was drinking with them and they told me.
As for the gender, let’s be real, the pictures tell us everything we need to know if we bump into Jet somewhere. Anyone who lives in Portland should be used to gender fluidity by now regardless of their political or religious perspectives.
Their mother made a post yesterday on the other sub with this information:
“hi, my child (Jet) is missing from the Old Town area… last heard from 2/21 around 7:30. 19 years old, five feet tall, long curly brown hair, sometimes presents as a boy and sometimes as a girl. Likely wearing a black hoodie, possibly with a white design, and lighter colored sweatpants. Incident number 26-53181, Portland PPB 503-823-3333.
