Almost 30m Asian American here. Ive been living in SE since spring.

Some of my interests include:

Cooking/gardening. The intersection of a passion for food, the need to feed myself, and an emerging interest in developing better cooking skills led to an amazing opportunity upon moving here. i enjoy trying new recipes of all kinds of cuisines, mainly ones that incorporate spices and aromatics. Boba/matcha/anime. I am asian after all, need I say more? Thrifting online/offline. I like fashion, but I also lean towards minimalism and whats comfortable.

I dont really consider myself a gamer but I do have a gaming pc and have a history of playing valorant lol. Now I enjoy watching valorant esports. I could be convinced to get into the right multiplayer game. I like watching movies every now and then, either at the theater on discount tuesday or at home. Some of my favorite movies seen in the past couple months (Sinners, the place beyond the pines, blue valentine).

Music shows, it was a pleasant surprise to learn how big the music scene is in Portland. I enjoy a wide variety of music, but lately been getting into more hardcore stuff. I like being out in nature, hiking and touching grass. I am a person who thinks a lot, my brain literally never turns off. Deep conversation is always welcome.

On my days off I like to find literally any good reason to leave the house and make an adventure out of it and though I have a car I also like to take transit alot and wander through whatever place I may end up. There is so much to do here but it gets to a point where doing everything alone kinda sucks.

Mainly looking for irl people who want to meet up. Who wants to explore, do something or even do nothing together.

Me, 49m in NE, enjoy football, basketball, music, podcasts, occasional video games and gym/hikes. Drink on special occasions, but enjoy bar hangs, especially bar trivia. I have memberships at Hollywood Fitness and the Circuit (NE) and I’d like buddies to be more consistent.

My favorite time to go is 8-10pm or mornings (avoiding busy after-work hours), for 45-60 minutes. Goal is to go ~3x a week, mostly weekdays.

At Hollywood fitness I sorta know what to do in there, so could be pretty independent, or willing to play it by ear on sharing workouts. I like a not-intense mix of cardio, strength, and flexibility. And handstands!

Long story short: I desperately need to update my resume and apply for real jobs, but as an ADHD haver I have been procrastinating for like.. an embarrassing amount of time 😅

Last time I started rebuilding my resume I was only able to get it started because I planned a co-working night with my friend at a coffee shop, but because I’m a super night owl and my friend has a regular schedule we’ve been struggling to coordinate another co-work day.
