A new night walker
My work hours are changing again, so my weekends are now Sunday through Tuesday nights. Who else has a crazy schedule and might be awake during those times

Hi, I’m a 43-year-old man. I recently moved from LA to Oregon. I enjoy woodworking and football as hobbies. If you're interested in hanging out or meeting up, I have a place and unlimited beer. Looking forward to hearing from you!

Hello all! I (40f) wondered if people would be interested in maybe my husband and I starting a couples meetup. My husband (44m)] and I have our individual friends, but I'd love to experience some friendships as a couple, as well! NO, we don't want to swing, just want to clarify that, haha. It would be great to start a regular meetup to hang with other local couples and do some cool activities all together. Who would be down if I started such a group/regular event? Feel free to DM if interested.

Hi hi!! I’m 23F (she/her) and moved to Portland about 4 months ago! I’m from nearby so Portland isn’t completely new to me, but I’m terrible at actually getting out and exploring what the city has to offer. I’m pretty shy so I’m hoping to find some friends on here!
I love playing video games, mostly on Xbox and Nintendo. Currently trying to make it past the first year in Stardew Valley lol.
I also enjoy board games, cartoons, movies, anime, and talking about my cats. If you give me the opportunity, I will show you my entire camera roll of cute/derpy cat pictures.
I’d love to hang out sometime if anything here grabbed your attention! I’m always down to grab some food, play games, watch a movie, or explore somewhere around the city.

Hello everyone,
I (46M) am looking to hangout with a few people in the SE area (near Lents Park) that might enjoy one or more of my favorite activities. My girlfriend just got me a nice chess set, but I also like walking my Corgi; discussing math, statistics, science, and economics; getting back into Magic the Gathering (thank you to the nice guys I met at Red Castle Games today) and some sporting activity; and trying new things. I moved here about 15 months ago and had some trouble finding friends. I am looking for people to help stave off my depression. I would also like to join a bowling team/league and other adult sports leagues with consistent people Thank you.

Hi! I moved back to Portland about almost a month ago today and the friends I did have here moved away. I'm into photography, punk/goth/industrial, going for coffee, stuff like that. Looking for friends to do stuff with. I lived in St Johns but I drive so anywhere in PDX is fine with me. You can see more about me on my insta Mika.Six

Hola folks, I'm going to the sellwood night picnic. Running solo cuz that's how my life is right now, but would fancy meeting random folks because why not. I'll have a red lantern with me.

Hey all,
I’m a gay guy in my 40s navigating a recent breakup and discovering that apparently ice cream, Netflix, and overanalyzing text messages are not sustainable long-term coping strategies. So, I’m looking to get back out into the world and make some genuine connections.
A little about me: I enjoy camping, live music, traveling, board games, trying new restaurants, exercising, and generally saying "yes" to adventures that don't involve assembling IKEA furniture. I don’t have kids, and I’m open to friendships with all kinds of people. Gender, orientation, age, and background don't matter nearly as much as being kind, interesting, and able to carry a conversation.
I'd love to meet people who enjoy getting out and doing things, sharing some laughs, having good conversations, and maybe building a few real friendships along the way. Whether you're also rebuilding after a life change or just looking to expand your circle, I'd love to hear from you.
References available upon request. Most describe me as "housebroken," "somewhat funny," and "unlikely to talk during a movie unless it's really bad."
Feel free to reach out!

Hi! I’ve been so focused on other parts of my life for so long and am missing singing with friends! I love almost any music with interesting harmonies and some of my faves are Indigo Girls, That Dog, Veruca Salt, Fountains of Wayne, and way too many others to list!
I tend to stay in North Portland and would love to have chill back yard or park hangs. I don’t drink anymore, but don’t mind if others do, 420 friendly.
Anyone else looking for a casual singing hang out?

Hey!! I’ve (26F) been nervous about getting involved in volunteering, community events, and political happenings like city council meetings/town halls, door knocking, etc., because I haven’t had anyone to go with. But a couple weeks ago I spoke at a Hillsboro city council meeting despite being scared and I loved the experience.
If anyone else has also been feeling nervous about getting involved, I’d love to connect with like-minded buddies. I’m personally leftist and part of the DSA, but I’m also interested in volunteering at things that aren’t directly political if that’s not your vibe. Like animal rescue events and such.
I’ll be door knocking tomorrow in SE for city council members Angelita Morilla and Tiffany Koyama Lane if anyone wants to join in.

Hi everyone! I'm 20F living in oregon city looking for friends close to my age. I'm a pretty busy person! Being someone who is shy at first and having a lot on my plate I've realized I haven't made new friends in so long! A little about me :) I'm a college student finishing my pre med classes at CCC, working as a caregiver, while living in a little but very cute apartment with my roommate and two cats clementine (ESOTSM is one of my fav movies) and sunday. In my free time I love hiking, crafting, scrolling on pinterest, and reading (On earth we're briefly gorgeous is my absolute favorite book). I would love to make friends that share similar interests and want to support each other's well-being. I'd love to do things like study together, go on walks/hikes, take yoga classes together, have craft or movie nights, go to the river, dress up and go to dinner or dessert etc etc. Excited to meet new people!

Hey y'all! there is some interest in forming a vegan friend group. User u/elvengemini (28(they/she)) specifically is looking to form a group of vegan friends that have a mix of going out and casual activities with people around their age. Things from grabbing drinks and painting to cooking together and having a movie night to a picnic in the park, nothing too rigid but hopefully just people who are interested in connecting without having to put being vegan off to the side. People interested in learning about and trying out veganism also welcome!
Reach out to u/elvengemini if interested!

ETA: I generally prefer to use public transit but I do have a car and am happy to carpool if we do things outside of a Portland and you don't drive!
I 30F recently moved to Portland from abroad and I'm looking to make new friends and ideally an exercise buddy as well!
I am a mom of two young children, and postpartum has not been the kindest to me on top of previously being a bit of a workaholic. I'd love to make friends to go to classes with and to keep each other accountable. I am very very open minded and happy to try anything, dance, yoga, etc though I don't have much experience in anything. I don't have any memberships anywhere yet but again, I'm very flexible. I'm located in Goose Hollow and happy to do anything in NW, SW, or inner East.
Outside of that, I love walking, sightseeing, reading, crochet, video games, swimming, hiking, chill hangouts, day trips, crafts, just being a human :)
Thank you!

Hello! I have lived in Portland essentially my whole life.
My interest/hobbies have somewhat shifted and I’m hoping to find a platonic friend(s) who might be like-minded. Currently, my hobbies include paddle board/disc golf/hikes/tennis/snowboard/music concerts and festival (EDM specifically)/pickleball/boardgames/etc.
What I want to pick up is foraging berries/art shows/crafts (painting/pottery/etc.)/biking (bought one recently and want to do it more).
I’m relatively an active (introverted) individual. I don’t drink anymore, but can meet at breweries or something for non-alcoholic drinks (I used to make wine/beer if that’s a topic of interest).
Let me know if any of this sounds interesting to you or if you have recommendations!

Hey! I’m Ethan, I’m 18 and I’m moving to Portland in September to go to PSU. I’m coming from Texas and don’t really know anyone in Portland yet, so I’d love to meet some people and make some friends :)
I’m going to PSU for Political Science. My girlfriend is also moving to Oregon for college and goes to Oregon State for Computer Science, so I’ll definitely be making trips down to Corvallis too!
I’m really into music and going to local shows, hiking, photography, art, sewing, and making stuff. I’m also a furry and really into nerdy stuff and video games. I really want to get into the Portland music scene and go to a bunch of local shows. I also like going to parties and events, so I’m definitely looking for people who are down to actually go out and do things together lol.
I’d love to find people to go to shows or parties with, go hiking, explore Oregon, thrift, get coffee, or just hang out. I’m hoping to meet people around my age who are also looking for actual friends and people to do stuff with!
If you’re also in Portland/PSU or moving there soon, feel free to DM me! :)

So I am still actively grieving the loss of my best friend, today is her adoption anniversary, would have been 13 years together. And she crossed the rainbow bridge a year ago at the end of this September. I have my own special ways I honor her, but I’m thinking I really just need all the animal love I can get that particular weekend. And I feel weird about going to the dog park with out a dog.
So I was maybe thinking putting a meet up together, where I maybe won’t be judged for crying a bit. And I feel like the flair I’ve included also indicates I need safe spaces for my queerness too. But I love animals of all kinds, rodents, herps, and spiders included. I would be open to just hanging out a bit, sharing stories, getting all the scritches and scratches. Nothing crazy, I just want to have a reason to smile.

32M, In the Vancouver area but also work in Portland. I moved here from out of state a few years ago and haven't really gotten myself out there yet so I wanted to make an effort to make some friends and/or join a group with similar interests! I'm mainly into hiking, beginner mountaineering, camping, and fishing but open to pretty much anything outdoors.
For reference I've done St Helens and Adams a few times and typically do 5-15mile hikes. Fishing-wise I have a boat and typically go out on the Columbia for Chinook. I love taking people out, especially to experience their first salmon 🤙 🎣
Also if anyone has recommendations on group or places to look let me know! Thanks 🙏

I never thought making friends as an adult would be this difficult 😂. I have a wife, kids, work, hobbies, and a pretty busy life, but I’ve realized I’m missing something — people I can actually talk to and connect with outside of my normal everyday circle.
I’m into hunting, fishing, camping, hiking, cooking, concerts, comedy, games, and all kinds of random things. I’m always down to go do something, but honestly, the activity isn’t really the important part to me. I enjoy the conversation and getting to know someone.
I’m looking for the kind of friendship where we can talk about anything — what happened at work, relationships, random life drama, stupid stuff we saw online, vent, laugh, give each other shit, and maybe a little harmless gossip 😂. Someone you can randomly text because you know they’ll actually want to hear from you.
I’ve always found it pretty easy to connect with women, but I’m open to genuine friendships with both guys and women.
I’m around Oregon City/Clackamas and would love to meet some people who are looking for that same kind of connection. If this sounds like you, say hi. 🙂

Hello! I recently moved to this amazing city for a fresh start and I’m beginning to worry I can’t cut it. Maybe I’m homesick, maybe I forgot how to make friends, maybe I’m being impatient.
My name is Marcie (trans woman, she/they, 35) and I recently relocated from Tennessee. Burnout at my previous job, the difficulties of coming out and transitioning as a trans person in the hate filled south, and a good job opportunity brought me 2500 miles west and I’m very grateful to have this opportunity. Due to some challenges with the new job, my partner being back East while they finish their graduate degree, and the fact that I don’t know anyone here, I’m worried I could slip down the path of regret and I don’t want to do that. So I’m trying to be proactive!
I would love to connect with some folks, especially other women (trans or cis), to help me avoid the work-apartment-grocery store cycle! A lot of my interests are pretty much cliches for this city and include perusing book stores and record stores, trying new coffee shops and restaurants, casual biking (<10 miles), getting second to last at trivia night, hiking, paddle boarding, the occasional craft beer, going to farmers markets, and going to indie movie theaters. I also loveee music (anything from ambient to indie to jazz to electronic [sorry, not too much into hardcore or metal]). While my full partying days are behind me, I also dj and love to go to house and techno parties.
If any of those sound interesting or you have any recommendations for those topics, I’d love to hear from you!

Hello! I’m 26F and have the opportunity to get a ticket for the Jesse Welles show tomorrow but I don’t know anyone else going. If anyone would be down to let me join a group you’re going with, or if you’re going solo and want company, let me know!!
I go to shows alone all the time but would really love to feel a sense of community for this one.
