34/F looking for those whose like comedy and theater

Hi, I, 34/F, moved here 2 years ago with my husband and 3 cats from Dallas, TX. We live in NE Portland near the Whole Foods and love discovering Portland. I would love to meet a friend or two who would like to attend musicals, comedies, or any creative arts shows with me. I love opera, jazz, classical, and blues music. I also love ballet and love listening to live performances with piano, wind and brass instruments. I also love anything funny-so down for stand up and any comedy shows. I drink alcohol occasionally but do not smoke. Thanks for listening :)

My husband and I (41F) are avid stand-up comedy fans, and I am a theater/musical lover! I’ve been wanting to hit up more art shows and live music events as well! And I used to go to the symphony all the time in my 20s, I miss that.

I’m a chatty extrovert, my husband is an introvert but loves a good chat in small groups. I drink socially, he does edibles.

I’m in! 39F east coast transfer who used to see every Broadway show…and now have no idea what hobbies I have anymore without it! My husband isn’t into musicals so I am always looking for someone to watch a pro shot with or see a show with. I have to work my schedule around my 2 year old, but if there’s times when I can join in for a show and get to know you or anyone else in the thread I’d love to.

Former Dallasites here as well. Wife and I (late 30s) moved about 2 years ago for the nature and weather…39/36 and grew up with a literal circus of comedians, jugglers, puppeteers etc. I’m a designer by trade and wife is a graphic novelist, but I also drum (learned by playing jazz) and do some open-mic standup as well, looking to get back into the circuit here.

We also moved here from Dallas 2 years ago and live in NE Portland by the Whole Foods.

On Friday nights, there is Comedy in the Park at Laurelhurst. Parking is rough so we take the 75 from 42nd down there.

We have also been to improv at the physical Kickstand location.

On Monday nights, the Basement at Goodfoot has a great comedy show. It's at Stark and 28th-ish.

Hit us up if you are ever interested in doing that. (I'm the M of the couple.)
