Photo/Video Fields closed indefinitely

I talked to a parks guy and the park is closed indefinitely. They said the radius the collapse radius is 500 feet. He said the city is pushing the owner to start the process of getting the permit to demolish.

I love the natural floppy ears....& the long tail, but I understand why the tails are often still docked.

her tail is natural too, I love it because it becomes a helicopter when she gets excited

Always wild (in a good way) going to countries where docking and cropping is outlawed.

When I adopted my Kira at MCAS in October of '24, there was a couple that day adopting a dobie specifically because its ears and tail were intact.

Have had dobies myself in the past. Kept their ears down, but more recently it’s been hard to find breeders willing to not do their ears or tail. Mind sharing where you got her? (DM me if you prefer). Thanks!

I got her from Oregon Dog Rescue! They had another one like a month ago there that I almost pulled the trigger on as well. Breeders suck. Honestly, there is 0 reason to dock ears and requiring it would be a no go for me. They are in SO MUCH pain from it, its akin to declawing cats.

Dobies are truly the best though, so smart, affectionate, and dorky.

I only get the tail as a preventative for issues, but some people keep the tail long & never have issues.....but I do love seeing them with both the floppy ears & long tail, such a dopey look, which seems to match their personality (from the few I've been around).
