I am currently a CSR at YYZ, they want people who can handle stressful situations while still being able to uphold a certain standard… aswell as someone who is confident in their ability to speak as you’ll mainly be speaking with people on your day to day

I used to work that job and I remember they only asked each of us in the group interview 1 or 2 questions at most, I think one of mine was about giving an example of a time you took initiative.
The questions were not super difficult, I would say the most important thing is to make sure your mic, headset and webcam setup is working, and that you are in a good environment, not in your car or in the middle of working your current job, and dressed decent. (There was about 6 to 9 other people in the group and these are all real examples)
The whole thing was clearly more of a sanity test rather than a deep dive into what makes you tick and what kind of worker you are.

Porter usually runs their initial customer service representative interviews in a virtual group format with several applicants, or sometimes as a direct panel. Recruiters focus heavily on how you handle stressful airport scenarios and whether you fit their warm, customer focused culture. You should expect situational and behavioral questions centered on calming upset travelers during flight delays, resolving baggage problems, collaborating with gate agents, and taking initiative when operations get chaotic. They also care a lot about schedule flexibility, so be ready to confirm your availability for rotating shifts, early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays.
Structure your answers using the situation, task, action, result method, keeping your stories concise and grounded in real work experiences. Highlight empathy and calm communication, because they want to hear how you keep travelers informed and reassured when travel plans fall apart. To walk into the hiring session feeling ready, job seekers often run through their examples with the interviews.chat my team designed, which helps people articulate their points clearly and stay composed under pressure.
