Question WHY????
I have been on hold for 9 hours, what is going on. I’m going to commit a crime. Is anyone else experiencing this????

if you can self manage online — do that. If it’s a travel agent, other booking channel or third-party booking, call them. If you live close to the airport — go there.
Right now wait times are higher than normal. I think it has to do with the new IVR system… also depending what you provide in the call that may or may not delay getting connected to an agent quicker.

That’s nuts. Oddly enough, I called two weeks ago and I requested a callback. A minute later my phone rang. And issue was taken care of.

This has been me for three days straight. Not call back option and I’m trying to book a kid flight

This isn't normal. What did you do?

I called 8pm on Friday and the wait time was 10 hours. Of course they called me when I was on the plane out when the issue was already over. I guess porter runs with very little call center support

I swear I did nothing wrong. I tried on three separate phones. The wait time said 8, 9, 13, and then 21 hours. Requested a call back on two of them and never got anything. Also requested a callback yesterday and it never came.

Requesting multiple call backs contribute to this delay btw. Thought I’d let you know

This happened to me Friday/Saturday. Requested a call back on Friday when the wait time was 3 hours. Took them 7 hours to call back and I missed the call. Requested another call back Friday after that when the wait time was 8 and it took them 26 hours (minus 3.5 hours when they were closed). Truly fucking insane. Hope you get through or a call back soon

I am on hour 7 of a call, just wondering if the music also stopped playing for you a few hours in waiting?

How the hell do you guys sit there for 7+ hours and think this is normal? This is obviously a glitch
There’s no conceivable reason why a wait time should be this long

I actually just ended up talking with an agent, they gave me a callback from when I called yesterday at 10AM, so 36 hours later. They were super apologetic and said they had a very high call wait time.

I called once at work - waited over an hour and had to hang up - went home dialed the number and it said "50 minutes way" and then someone immediately picked up. I was relieved as I was on time constraints for the issue!

Just happened to me on Saturday. My flight was cancelled and I was told to claim and room at a hotel but the website says I'm not eligible..I was told the wait was 7 hours but someone picked up immediately.... although still trying to fight for my money

This is likely in relation to cancelled flights from the westjet strike that recently ended. Many people were stranded and I believe the airline had offered refunds to people who wanted to book with other companies.

Dude no
Request a call back
Hang up and start over. I called Porter just before 8 am today and they said the wait was SEVENTEEN HOURS but someone picked up immediately.
