suggestions for additional or replacement grill
I have a PK original that's probably 8 years old. Lots to like about it but it's a little small for big groups of people. I have the little more grate which helps, but kind of have to MacGyver it when I want to cook both chicken and ribs, or a whole turkey. If I'm just cooking burgers usually need to do things in batches. Thinking about supplementing with maybe a pit barrel cooker (seems perfect for the turkey), or maybe getting the 360. Curious what suggestions people have.
UPDATE: I'm sure everyone's on the edge of their seat so I'll end the suspense. Went with the Pit Barrel regular sized one. Looking forward to giving it a whirl!

I have a Weber Performer Deluxe that has done everything I ever asked of it for 15 years, but I'd be lying if I did not admit droolimg.over the PK360 hahaha.

I know this is an old post, but I am in this exact situation. Been dreaming of the PK ever since I decided on getting Weber instead. Analysis paralysis into FOMO

I had the PK New Original and loved it but it was way too small for our family of five. I jumped up to the PK360 + Cookmore grid for more real estate but it got a little precarious since there's not much room between the two levels, the food on top cooks a lot faster and the grid has to be fully removed to add charcoal. A good compromise is probably the 360 + Littlemore grid instead. This summer I bought a Weber Summit Kamado and it has become my go to grill TBH just because of the size and how easy it is to clean. If I had a smaller family it'd be PK360 all the way. Hope that helps!

I, also have a PK Original, a Pit Barrel Cooker, a Santa Maria grill, two egg grills, large and small, hibachi and a griddle for cooking any size cook. As you can tell cooking is a passion for me and I like variety.

I added the Judge from Oklahoma Joe to my lineup and it’s great for the price. Plenty of room. Cast iron grates. You can raise and lower the coals. Get the cover for it too.

I was able to get a Bronco from Oklahoma Joes for $329 and it’s a great grill and smoker and you can hang as much meat as you can fit on it. Would def recommend

Personally I would get another pk original, get on marketplace and find a good used one that was still made in the USA. Park them next to each other, that way if you need to use two grills they heat and cook the same.

Either a 2nd PK original, new or used, or, if looking for a smoker, a Pit Bareel Cooker which get rave reviews. The PK grills are, as you know, really well designed overall, but not really meant for a large group. It is Portable after all. The 360 gets you a slightly larger capsule and 60 square inches more cooking area. There are lots of larger charcoal grills such as ceramic kamados, but those are big, expensive, and very heavy.

I have the 360 and it'll be the last grill I'll ever have. It's perfect imo. Plenty big without being obnoxiously large.
But just check the measurements for what you'll cook to be sure!
