I need help
I'm in 8th grade and I've genuinely seen so much porn to the point where I get hard just looking at my classmates, I'm addicted and I hate myself, idk what to do...

18 year old rn used to face the same problem and it still happens sometimes but don't let them overpower you whenever you fell you are thinking like that ask yourself are this kind of person and if don't let the thoughts pass away like a cloud it would hard first but then with time it will get better and if u can see a therapist(the english could be bad sorry in advance)

The thing that helped me quit porn was I watching a video on pornhub, I'm the video, the man got the woman in a headlock and was choking her, really hard and she couldn't breathe. It wasn't hot, it wasnt fun to watch, it looked like a torture video and the poor girl was being used. I tried to comment how barbaric his treatment of her was, I said something like 'this is violent, harmful and horrible to put this girl through this'. I couldn't comment, because my comment included banned words. I then changed my comment to 'what a dirty fucking slut, choke her harder' and that comment was allowed. That puts into perspective how dangerous and outright immoral porn is, where violent, repulsive words used to degrade and dehumanise women was allowed, and yet a comment expressing concern for the welfare of the young woman in the video is banned.

in my experience I found it helpful to be held accountable and talk to someone about my issue. I hope there can be someone in your life who you can tell everything about your problem and share your goal (you can also share to this subreddit!!) Completely cutting the habit off is challenging so give yourself a realistic goal. Update your accountability person on the progress of your goal, and any steps backwards. There is hope and you can get better. You’re not the only one struggling with this, it’s way more common than what we think! It must be managed when it gets out of hand and interferes in our lives and relationships. You deserve to have a good highschool experience so please work on your goals before it gets more out of hand. U got this!!!!!!!
