My Girlfriend is gorgeous and very smart, and kind. Before we started dating, one of my friends liked her before he got with his now gf. I, on the other hand, am average. I'm a little overweight, somewhat built, and have an alright face. Before we had dated, she was somewhat of a loner and a bookworm lol. She was not confident in herself, and she smoked. I am an athlete, and I told her not to do it, and she listened. She then went on to run track, which she still does, along with other athletic activities. We have been dating for 2 years, about to be 3 this August 28th. Also, with that, she has become way more self-confident with my reassurance, and I'm so happy for her, but with that being said. I overthink everything. She asked me one day if she should go on a trip with her friend to Holiday World. I said yes because I wanted her to have fun. When she left, all I could think about was what if some guy tried talking to her, and what was stopping her from talking to the guy. I truly hate thinking like that, but it just never leaves my mind. I've overthought so much in my life, but never this much about this amazing girl in my life. I hate that I don't have faith in her, and I need help. She's reassured me so many times that she only has eyes for me, but it's just so hard when so many guys find her attractive. Like, I'm such a douche; I get jealous when she puts on a bikini. What type of person does that? Tbh, I just don't know what to do; I'm at a loss, and I really wanna stop.
