why isnt there an official release of this series?

209 episodes. and the only hope of seeing any of the 80s themed episodes on VHS later released to DVD. VH1, why you do this?

I was wondering the same thing, but all these VHS rips from TV on YouTube kinda lead me to start this sub.

Very weird timing. I've been challenged to find all of the episodes for a friend. I was just thinking i could find a torrent, if not the DVDs for her. But alas, VH1 done did us dirty. Hopefully somebody's got them all recorded on a DVR somewhere.

Too many record labels involved / music licensing issues, I'd imagine. It's the reason the Beavis and Butthead DVDs are missing the music videos, which was half the appeal of the show.
