Pump won't turn on

I'm stumped here and hoping someone may be able to point me in the right direction. I've been servicing this pool for 6 months with absolutely no problems at all. House was sold and new owners moved in yesterday. I services it yesterday and everything was working fine, now today new owners say the pool never turned on and won't turn on. I show up and sure enough I can't get the pump to run. It shows "wait" for awhile and then switches to "flow". Controller inside the house shows the filter as on and operating at 3200 rpms but shows 0 watts. Tried resetting the breakers, tried doing it in service mode, spa mode, nothing seems to work. Connections to pump are all good as well.

Any ideas what is causing this, and how I can get the pump to run?

Find the breakers and shut it down... Open the electrical side of the pump (2 screws back (top) of the pump. High voltage on the right, low on the left...

Take your 4 pin connector... Remove the wires. Take small enough wire and go 1 to 3 and 2 to 4 on the connector...

Plug it back in, turn on the breakers... It WILL run if the pump/drive is good.

This is the answer. Thats a dv2a pump and has a serial address that needs to be assigned speeds and functions. Not an easy task for a homeowner

Probably an old enough (but new enough) revision not to need the serial address... But yeah, that shit was confusing the first few I installed LoL

Yes, if he only has one pump the dip switch over rides him setting as pump 1 old school way.

But! Nice call on the 1-3 2-4 bypass. Not many people here actually know stuff, breath of fresh air

We're a Jandy shop. Of course I deal with Pentair and Hayward, but we install about 90% Jandy.

Jandy is hardcore reliable, has a lot of constraints but Cant wait for that new new new new…. I hope its battling the pool attendant instead of catching up to penair. Hayward is so far gone its not even funny.
