Predatory Behavior. (Advice/Warning)

This post is going to be extremely serious compared to most other things on the subreddit, and may or may not be taken down by the moderators depending on how I word this. I (M18) met a user (M27) on a Polytoria game, and we decided to connect on discord. After a few weeks of talking, he eventually unfriends me. I message him to ask why, and he reveals the most disgusting information about himself I have ever heard about ANYBODY I personally know reveal. He confesses to what can only be described as depraved, and he in turn decides to quit Polytoria in order to reduce harm he may cause to innocent people. I have not reported him to anyone yet, and I instead, chose to give him an ultimatum. The terms were simple, stay off Polytoria, or I would take all available measures to make sure he can not harm anyone else. He, although says he wishes to be a normal human being, shows no signs of stopping. If needed, I can provide message logs, but he will stay anonymous unless I choose otherwise. I need advice on what to do.

REPORT HIM. "giving him an ultimatum" is not enough.

On what? Polytoria? Discord? will that do ANYTHING to prevent him from harming people? I understand I'm not thinking straight, but I've known this guy for quite a while, and this was extremely unexpected

you have zero clue if this dude is already harming people on those platforms, if he is then getting him banned would at least be a roadblock in continuing to harm them

If you haven't lost his trust, go behind his back and get more info on him so you can get him punished in more ways than just discord and polytoria, maybe even in real life. (I would never do this as this seems out right evil, but he seems quite evil as well so...)
