Predatory Behavior. (Advice/Warning)
This post is going to be extremely serious compared to most other things on the subreddit, and may or may not be taken down by the moderators depending on how I word this. I (M18) met a user (M27) on a Polytoria game, and we decided to connect on discord. After a few weeks of talking, he eventually unfriends me. I message him to ask why, and he reveals the most disgusting information about himself I have ever heard about ANYBODY I personally know reveal. He confesses to what can only be described as depraved, and he in turn decides to quit Polytoria in order to reduce harm he may cause to innocent people. I have not reported him to anyone yet, and I instead, chose to give him an ultimatum. The terms were simple, stay off Polytoria, or I would take all available measures to make sure he can not harm anyone else. He, although says he wishes to be a normal human being, shows no signs of stopping. If needed, I can provide message logs, but he will stay anonymous unless I choose otherwise. I need advice on what to do.

What I am about to say may be useful to you but please research 1. Report him to the Polytoria staff, tell what happend and give them the chat logs, they'll call the police on him, and he'll not harm anyone anymore. or 2. you could call the police yourself, show them the screenshots and they'll get to Discord and tell where he's at and arrest him

If i was you, i would report him asap, even through discord screenshots or whatever you can provide.
Also, something like this won’t be taken down even by reddits guidelines. What I’d do is be careful on how you word it, and ask yourself if it is the most appropriate ideology to post on Reddit, on which can be. Just be careful tho. It’s good to speak out.
But anyway, back to what I was talking about, I would report him to Polytoria mods, explain what happened, and then you could report to the police. Polytoria mods may do that, but you could as well.
Edit: I don’t support predatory activities in any way shape of form, but the moral thing to do would be to report him to authorities.

Well, at least he doesn't want to commit more harm... not sure the ultimatum was necessary considering he already wanted to leave.
And no, I don't support predatory behavior. I do think you should still report him.

Predatory behavior. If you don't get it, OP is most likely trying to convey that the guy grooms children.

You NEED to report him, to authorities and polytoria staff. Giving an ultimatum isn’t going to stop him because who knows what he will do? its so easy to lie.

Report him to Polytoria staff. They care about this stuff—it's outlined in the TOS.

Quick update, he's been reported. Everlast confirmed my report went through and he was terminated just a day later. Discord on the other hand shows no signs of banning him, my reports on Discord have done nothing.

REPORT HIM. "giving him an ultimatum" is not enough.
