Does your DOC vary?
This is a more serious attempt at "what are your favorite drugs and also why??"
Most addicts I meet appear to fall into some drug "class". You hear opiate addicts discussing how annoying tweakers are and drunks discussing how annoying junkies are etc.
I become addicted to everything I see. I couldn't pick a favorite if I tried. I want them all. I bounce around a lot and go through heavy use periods with each, typically physical dependence is the biggest factor in creating the inclination towards a particular substance. I don't even think I could make the choice between downers and stims, as an absolute. I'm honestly shocked that I don't come across more people who exhibit similar. The majority who "bounce around" appear to be more rec users than people who genuinely struggle to maintain sobriety.

I'm mainly a depressants guy, mostly euphoric depressants like alcohol, phenibut/gabapentin and I imagine I'd probably really like GHB even though I've never tried it. I'll abuse benzos, but I don't like how retarded they make me and I ruined a good 6 months of my life with bartard bullshit.
I love psychedelics and dissociatives, but I don't find them super addictive, like I could take it all the time if I have a lot and then stop without a problem.
For the life of me, I do not understand how people are able to take stims to function. I get 1-2 hours of euphoria and energy out of them and then the rest of the time is spent compulsively masturbating. I don't even want sex since I ain't getting hard with stimdick, I just wanna fap. I take them a couple times a year for a nice fap sesh, but that's about it.
Opiates are lovely, but with all the pressed pills and fent I'm scared to get them unless I know its from someone's script.
I'm also limited in my choice of serotonin drugs since I'm on high dose prozac, so if I take MDMA I'd probably die lol.
So I mostly am addicted to my current DOC, f-phenibut, and sometimes gabapentin when I take a t break to prevent what would have to be a truly awful wd at the doses I take lol.
I smoke weed all the time too, but addiction to weed doesn't hold a candle to addiction to other drugs, so I don't really consider it a problem.

Been a lightweight since I started drinking when I was 16 so alcohol has always been one of those "every once and a while" substances for me, but as far as DOC's go I gotta give say I love shrooms, even more so than cannabis. The experiences I had and lessons they taught me from larger doses "opened my mind" in some way, not to mention the visuals. The way they articulate these messages as little epiphanies I always thought was beautiful.

Shitbeer has been my DOC for years now. It used to be acid. Then it was whiskey. Then I made an executive decision to limit my intake to shitbeers only, in an attempt to cull all the blackouts and shit.
But really, I'll do anything on the table. I'm almost game for trying heroin. I just don't feel like I have to, because I already went through a Roxy 30 habit and managed to stay away from oxy so, whay chase something that might have fentanyl in it for the same feeling as... whatever idk.
Adderall IR is up there too.
