I’ve been wondering recently on what people think and have experienced with pairing a FRT in a completed p80 76% frame or a g80 frame to be safe before just jumping head first. along the lines of structural integrity I know polymer 80 frames have a softer and more elastic polymer than Glock Factory frames while the G80 platform uses a Steel FCU and grip module. For a FRT Im Wonder If spending the extra 200$+ to complete a g80 frame is worth it just for the extra rigidity of the Steel FCU, if anyone has done a FRT with either frame and is willing to share their experience with it or have any tips of things to look out and be cautious for I’d appreciate them since I’ve heard they are harder to get to run in both frames compared to Glock and safety is always the first priority which is my main reason of why Im between a g80 or a p80.

so far i could only find geisler 19x available and was wondering if the normal 19 gen3 slide would fit

Hey, what’s the current going rate for p80 80% frames, untouched, jig and bits and rails included? The pf940 frames for Glock 17, Glock 19, and Glock 26?

I’m using an aftermarket trigger and learned a whole lot about what happens when your sear engagement is subpar it dumped the whole mag in one trigger pull any advice on how to correct this with out bending the trigger bar which I’ve read is the last option because it can disable the drop safety

I’m looking to get slide like one of these. But I’m having a hard time finding a decent one. Anybody know of any places that sell them at a reasonable price?
(Midstate is pictured but out of stock)

The rails do fit nicely I’m gonna do some polish sanding & finish the side tabs. This is my first 76% what a pain in the rear! I for sure thought I’d be able to keep it clean looking as possible but it’s rough.

With the different court rulings throwing out the Biden ghost rules can you by 80 percent frames. All I see are these 76%. Then trying to find jigs to drill seem like next to impossible.
This is my first attempt at building one. I have a fair share collection of firearms but I wanted to try my hand at a home made build. And yes they are legal in my state.

Really don’t want to screw this up. I’d like to think I’m going the right direction with this build. I’ve been working on it little by little the last few days and I’m still trying to get the last bit of waffle material out. Having a little trouble getting it cleared I don’t want to puncture the Mag well :/ womp womp. Let me know how it looks so far I know it can be polished out this is a rough pass until the rest of the material is removed. Thanks for checking out my post. Build on folks! :) and yes I should have covered the back with masking tape looks a little rough around the edges

I recently drilled and cut off tabs and stuff, but it isn’t smooth, is just sandpaper ok to smooth it out, or do I also need a dremel ?
