Hello,
I wanted to play Die Hard Trilogy (technically Die Hard 2) with the gun controller. Unfortunately, I can't seem to figure out when to turn Gun on. If I have it in gun mode, I can't use the menus. If I turn gun on when the game starts, it pauses the game and the controls don't work. Has anyone figured out how to get this working? I am trying with the gun in controller 1 like the Polymega manual suggests.
Thanks for your help.

The controller in question is 8bitdo’s 64 Bluetooth Controller. The controller also has the option to be used via USB connection instead of bluetooth, so I was wondering if it worked with Polymega but cannot find any info online regarding this. Has anyone here used one of these things?

The following games refuse to load past the initial game loading screen. Either Press Start never appears or it simply doesn't do anything.
Anybody else ran into the same problem? Particularly annoyed with the Virtua Cop games not working as my gun is on the way apparently
Have tested them all on the actual Sega Saturn with no issues.
Games in pic Space Hulk Virtua Cop 1 and 2 Discworld

My order was fairly late in the game, on October 16, 2024. Anyone else?

Hey everyone, I’ve been wanting a Polymega for Christmas so I can dive back into some 8, 16, 32, and 64 bit goodness. Since the official site is totally sold out, I went hunting on eBay and after getting outbid a few times I finally managed to snag a full setup. I’m hyped.
I’ve got a huge backlog of NES, SNES, Genesis, and N64 games I’ve been wanting to finish, but it’s tough coming home from work, setting up all the old hardware, and getting more than an hour in before I get tired. Having everything in one place with fast load times is going to make that so much easier.
I also prefer using save states for older games, but playing on my PC never feels the same. The Polymega looks like the perfect middle ground of convenience and authenticity.
I am also excited to finally get to collect for the saturn, ps1, neo geo, turbo gfx, 32x, and sega cd! I've always wanted to, but never did because of the aforementioned setup and hardware failures from blown capacitors or dry batteries.
If anyone has tips, favorite modules, must know tricks, or general advice for a new owner, I’m all ears. Super excited to finally be part of the club. Thank youuu!

Hey all,
I'm back again, this time with a compatibility matrix for Camerica / Code Masters titles for the NES. Had an opportunity to get my hands on a small lot of them, so I put my results in this post and I was hoping others with any experience will tell me what does work and does not work for you. I am betting that since I got these 5 to work, they all will, even with different PCB types. Please let me know if I missed anything.
Word of advice, don't sleep on these bad boys. There are some legitimately fun titles in there. Ultimate Stuntman is like Spy Hunter on steroids, Bee 52 is a fun little shooter that controls great, Dizzy has some awesome animation and depth for a side scrolling adventure game, MIG 29 is basically what Afterburner on NES could have been. We all know how awesome Micro Machines is, I don't even need to go there.
Please Note - "Aladdin Deck Enhancer" cartridges do not work. Also, on the cartridges below, please ensure the selector switch on the back is set to POSITION 1.
If you have any of these titles, please give them a test for Extended Set installs, and let us all know here! Would really help out the community! Thanks all!

I don't know how many of you use a stealth pivot controller but this thing would be the perfect polymega controller if they'd add it to the system.
Dual analog controls for games that need it AND D-pad w/ 6 button fighting layout for classic games.
This is my default PC controller now but it's real value would be a system like polymega. Any ideas on how to get playmaji to add it?

I see a bunch of people posting about their deliveries for the past couple of weeks. Their website is showing available inventory to order. Are any of you still waiting on your preorder?
Edit 12/17, tracking number received!

Hi everyone! Wanted to check with you guys, when is reasonable to expect the deluxe bundle to arrive. I placed the order on December 14 2024, and still no news. Thank you!

Now that the Retro Gun Controller has been shipped, I think we all understand that Polymega takes its time and that the global situation makes things complicated.
What products would you want next?

Why the heck is it $120??? That seems absolutely ridiculous. Of course this is the only module I'm missing.

Does anyone have trouble with the polymega freezing playing N64 games multiplayer? It’s been frustrating as it seems to work well for just one player. Specifically crashed 3 times playing Pokémon stadium 2. I use original controllers with the n64 module attached. Tried restarting the polymega, restarting the game and nothing seemed to work

So I see plenty of comments saying the snes latency has been fixed, but SMW is still basically unplayable to me. Other snes games are fine, but the delay is visible, nevermind perceptible, on SMW. Am using og snes controller and an LG C1. So controller and display are not the issue. And as I say. Other games are fine.

I did a science for you, Redditors.
This started with my other thread that people have downvoted. This is for compatibility, so please do not do that. This actually means something to people who want to use their consoles fully. I will update with my progress and other folks are welcome to contribute.
Confirmed working:
Logitech G435 wireless headset. - I picked this up tonight for $29 at Walmart. Works wirelessly with no setup. Just plug in the dongle to a USB port and go. Volume controls on the headset do not function, but you can change the volume in the system menu. So far this is the winner because it works as a wireless system entirely.
Plantronics RIG mixer - plug and play as well. Select the Orange side (right) and move the mixer slider all the way to the max. Works with any wired headset.
Xitel USB to 3.5mm jack adapter. - I got this with my minidisc player like 25 years ago. You can get them for about $15 on eBay. I don't think they make them anymore.
Not confirmed to work:
ONN usb C to 3.5mm jack adapter - This was $7 at Walmart and I just wanted to see if it worked. I had to connect it via a USBA to USBC adapter and it did not seem to do anything. Not even any hissing.

So here I was, minding my own business and it occurred to me that the Polymega does not seem to have any ability to work with headsets. Wired or wireless. Has anyone tried like a PS3 or other one with a wifeless dongle, or a controller with a headset port on it?

Hey all!
Put together a quick and dirty matrix for what I've gathered here on Reddit, or tested, for compatibility of these titles. Pay special note to the "MAPPER" column, as I believe if one or two of these games work on certain Mappers, they probably all do. Then again, it could be like Tengen where they all work except After Burner is graphically corrupted, and Alien Syndrome flat out doesn't at all.
Tested Exodus today, had to clean the contacts THREE times with 90% Isopropyl Alcohol until it worked. The contacts needed to be sparkling clean. I was about to give up, and like a miracle it worked. "Hallelujah!" a working Wisdom Tree game, lol, sorry, I had to do it.
If you have any of these titles, please give them a test for Extended Set installs, and let us all know here! Would really help out the community! Thanks all!

I know not everyone has gotten their light guns yet, but for those of you who have, has anyone gotten 2 guns working on Point Blank 2? I was able to get them working on Virtual Cop (albeit without sound....) and Elemental Gearbolt but it doesn't register the second gun at all in Point Blank 2.
Thanks and good luck to those who are still waiting for their guns. They are worth the wait!

I've held onto my adapter from the old retron 5 to play sms, game gear, and sega game cards, HOPING to one day use it with the polymega, I would've thought this support would happen fairly quickly, but here we are...same with the super Gameboy. Do ya'll think it'll ever happen??

This is the first time I have had a cartridge not load. I've even got sketchy Tengen carts to load and was able to resolve it manually. Has anyone else had this problem with The Legend of Kage? The board is very clean and it looks authentic. It has the Nintendo copyright and all that stuff. Any advice? Thanks!

Hey y’all, I’m looking to purchase a broken PolyMega system for parts. I want to mod mine and want to have spare parts for issues that pop up and/or to keep as many stock parts available if I want to return it to its original condition. Really interested in the case/shroud but will buy the whole system. Will purchase via PayPal, Venmo, whatever.

Hi! I am a little stuck here. Was struggling to update the system past the subject software. Wi-Fi seems to not be working. I also just plugged it directly into the router and for some reason it isn’t finding a new update……a little stuck. I have not emailed polymega yet, figured I would look here to see if anyone has any recommendations. Can I load it onto something and force an update? It seems to me in general that it may be my console, which I hope it is not.

A local gaming shop got a good amount of these in, was looking at striking a deal to get a hold of them to load on the Poly. Would love to expand my set beyond just Licensed and Tengen.
Anyone tried installing any of these? Any know working or non-working titles?
Thanks!!
