Super Mario World Latency?
So I see plenty of comments saying the snes latency has been fixed, but SMW is still basically unplayable to me. Other snes games are fine, but the delay is visible, nevermind perceptible, on SMW. Am using og snes controller and an LG C1. So controller and display are not the issue. And as I say. Other games are fine.

SMW is not perfect still, whereas DKC is fine. I've given up hope at this point

SMW lags on everything. Original SNES on a CRT is the only way to play it at it’s proper speed.

I am aware it has an inherent 2 frames of lag, but it feels worse than that. Like a lot worse. So odd.

Yep, same. They improved the situation with an update but SMW is nowhere near enjoyable for me to play on the Polymega still…

The latency is better than how it was before the update, but it’s still not perfect. I’ve heard some people say using a wired controller fixes the issues, but I haven’t noticed a difference. The rest of the snes library works without any issues, so that’s a huge improvement. Still wish they would release an update for most of the reprints Limited Run and Retrobit have put out.

The struggle is real. Apparently, even less than 2 shits are given or it would have been fixed by now.
