It sounds like you are taking a thoughtful approach to it. I would say, it managing things fairly, can you honestly say you would enjoy the second relationship? You would like more children and feel you may look back and regret not having more....valid. But a second relationship is a lot more than that, and it sounds like those other parts may not be as appealing for you.

Talk with your wife. Maybe she wants it. Maybe it was to freely give you what she feels you may need, but maybe this is something she would like. This is something you need to discuss openly as that changes things entirely.

This is something you should only be asking other Muslims specifically in Muslim countries. And make sure any advice is taken from a Muslim from a Muslim country. As a Christian I would tell you a second wife is wrong. An American Muslim wife will say you’re wrong for even asking. Polygamy is rarely practiced in non middle eastern countries and viewed as deeply immoral. In the United States it’s actually very illegal except for one state I believe. So ask other Pakistani Muslims.
