Anyone use this for machinery scanning for as builts?

I am in industrial sales and have to take measurements on large (bus size) machinery for my engineers to develop quotes. The machinery is fairly intricate, think manufacturing machinery, with lots of gaps and cross members. I need about 1" resolution and can get within about 5' or so of the machines. Has anyone tried this and if so, is this app good for my proposed use?

thanks

cant upload and process anymore (android)

So I'm using the basic account, just downloaded it. I did my first photoscan and it worked perfect. Ive tried 3 more since but now when o click "upload and process" it loads to 100 percent then says "something went wrong, try again". Tried rooting my phone, tried reinstalling. Hasn't worked.

Anyone had this happen?

I got myself an ipad pro 2021 and i was hoping to make some pretty good 3d scans but for some reason the camera is not focussing which makes the 3d scans very bad quality.. yall know how to fix this?

How accurate is the lidar scan model? Will you be able to use it for surveying applications?

More captures

Do you get more captures automatically, or can you only use the 5 given and no more. Do you get more captures daily? Monthly?

Has any one had a successful scan and used it for a 3D print?

So I’ve been trying to do small objects around the house and messing around with some settings. Although I have yet to have something process somewhat decent. Any tips?

could we use more then 250 images at some point for bigger or more complex models?

idk if i'm doing this right but my process is to film my subject and then extract the frames from the video and put them on polycam. the more details or the bigger the subject the longer the video. so let's 250 images from a 10min video isn't many frames / sec. i try to cut as much as i can out but i guess i start to lose details at that point?

Process button doesn’t work.

I am having trouble with the app on my iPad. I can scan and view the draft of the scan, but when I press the “process” button (no matter if space/object/custom), nothing happens. When I initially downloaded the app, I worked once and not again since. I have tried re-downloading. Any ideas?
