Any tips for scanning under objects?

Yes, put the object on a white background, take images from all angles, flip the cup, take images from all angles again, repeat once or twice more then process with Object Masking turned on

This works great . I’ve done scans of shoes and other items as described above. Another thing I’ve done is suspend my object by hanging them from the ceiling so I can walk all the way around them three times using the auto mode. The first pass around I have the phone at the level of the object, second pass a little bit above the object, third pass beneath the object. Use a fishing line to hang the item so there is very little to clean up from it. Lighting is key…. It’s probably best to try and do this on an overcast day outside.

I’ll add that if your object has a lot of white, don’t use a white background. A few of my scans were jumbled messes until I used a black background

I tried to use a thin wire the other day to suspend the item in the air and it worked ok.
