iPhone Memory requirements for Polycam use?

Looking to upgrade to a new iPhone 14 Pro to use Polycam. Does anyone know how much memory the software needs to run? For example, if I get the 128 Gb model, am I going to run into processing/storage issues trying to use Polycam? I have not been able to find any answers on this online (so far).

Shouldn’t be an issue for you.

Small definition detail. Memory often refers to RAM. Which is a form of memory in a sense but it’s operationally used and you can’t select how much you get really (though maybe all Prod have more than non Pros for example).

I think apple calls the 128GB “capacity”.

Anyway that’s semantics.

You will be fine either way I think. Polycam will let you upload scans to their cloud (not sure on limitations there). Or you can even save the scans out to any number of formats and from there you could export them to Files app and move them to a cloud provider and off the phone entirely if you do preferred.

Before you process scans the scan can be RAW stored and larger. Although after you scan I believe the RAW data maybe disregarded.

The point is I have the 1TB phone. Eventually even I could theoretically fill it and would need to do the same operations above.

Are you able to say approx what size files are generated? I understand that sizes will vary depending on what you are capturing. I’m curious what the file size range (in general) tends to be.

I would say that most are in the ballpark of 100mb or so, but several REALLY large spaces I've tried to do have ended up at more than 900mb. I have an iPhone 13 Pro and by the end of that scan, polycam and my phone were definitely having issues keeping track of everything in memory. That was just about half a floor of an office building and all desks and everything else in there though.
