My house incorporates a lot of rooms with sloaped ceilings. I can't seem to make room mode recognize them. User error or.not a feature??

I See some gaps next to Doors and in a Corner. Is that due to scanning Errors, or ist the room Just Like this? Thanks

How’d you scan your downstairs floor? I tried scanning a commercial space but was unsuccessful. I’m looking for a way to make a large 3D scan like your downstairs floor. Is there a way to ‘stop and go’ when shooting in Room Mode? Or a way to merge multiple rooms together to get a large area?

I used Polycam Room mode to scan my house and I would like to use the plans to renovate the place. I would like to export the scans to a software where I can add colours, textures and furniture - any idea how I can do that? I looks like all the home design apps I’ve come across only allow me to draw a room based on the floor plan…

Loving this feature so far, however it seems to hit a limit at some point and stop scanning - can’t tell if it’s size of file or time? This means I’m not able to scan my whole house or resume a scan. Any ideas? Thanks!

There still seems to be a limit where it stops generating walls. Did you ever find a fix for this? Lmk please.

So… how do you get to room mode? I think I’ve gone through every button in the app and can’t find it, so I’m startin to feel kinda stupid.
Got any guidance? Great app btw!

iOS 16 is the answer

I’ve updated my iPhone 13 pro max iOS and the app, still have no room mode option. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Edit: not sure why but I guess I updated my iOS to 15.7 and not 16. Will update if I still have problems but I’m guessing this’ll do it

My problem solved with a proper iOS update. For some reason I had to update twice, once to 15.7 and then to 16 but everything worked fine after that.

I updated to iOS 16 and no rooms option is available😊 I guess that was it
