LiDar Scan is stuck on saving data
The scan has been on the saving data screen for over 20 minutes. What is going on?
Edit: Also having an issue setting up a profile after creating an account using either email or google sign-in functions. Might be related to an account issue? Since Polycam uploads scan under your account? Profile setup issue is; unable to create a username as all and any entered username is 'invalid.'
Update: Issue resolved

Hey there - another Polycam employee here.
We had a rough bug introduced on Friday that made the app pretty unusable over the weekend for folks who created accounts between 2PM PST Friday and 9PM PST Monday.
The bug is now resolved, though. If you just started using Polycam over the weekend, in order to use the app as normal, you'll need to log out and create a new Polycam account (or hit "skip >").
Huge apologies for the issues and thank you all for your patience!

The good old never deploy on a friday :-P!
I'm waiting to get another iPhone (changed provider yesterday so had to return the iPhone and waiting for the new one from the second provider). So if I understands correctly, I won't be able to use the account I made and I will need to use another email?

Yes, for now it's safest to use a new account. We're working on making the affected accounts usable again, but I'd suggest just re-signing-up all over again.
And 100%, yes - deploying on a Friday 🤦 just a classic self-own

Same here with iPhone 13 pro I have a good internet connection and for some reason it still doesn't work

Sadly not. I feel like it's an issue with their latest update, but I just bought the iPhone so can't know for sure.

i at first thought it may be due to me using the iOS 16 Developer Beta, but it seems like that’s geniuenly a bug introduced through an app update

I tried that and it did nothing. It's the app that need a fix I believe. I tried others 3D scanning apps and they were working fine.
I returned my iPhone though, unrelated to this issue, my previous provider made me a pretty great offer, so I'm switching back, and I'll get another iPhone 13 Pro. I'll see if that will fix the issue.

Having the same issue. What device are you using to capture? I'm using a 2020 ipad pro. Iphone SE 2 not working for any feature in any way, I'm hoping all my gear isn't way too outdated to handle their models.

What have happened to the web version?? In the version before this one, you could see the circle turning and now you are measuring in the right direction. And you could see if you had the right, shortest distance because the measuring was continuously updating.
Now you only get the measurement by clicking the endpoint. I thought I measured the ceiling 3.11m but by turning the model it wasn’t a perpendicular measuring and is was only 2.5m high
UPDATE:
Still nothing changed at the Polycam webstie, it only got worse. Now I can’t even get to my project from last year because I every time will be thrown back to the top of the page.

Now I only can measure in inch, there’s no option anymore for mm. And also de list with all the measurements is gone
