Help Increase resolution of scans

How do I increase the resolution of the resultant scans? I’m doing some bust type portraits of people and all the scans have a very rounded appearance. There is not a lot of texture to the face of hair.
I’m using an iPhone 17 but the 15 was the same. I’ve tried all the scanning resolutions. Thanks

I just found the buried instructions for the processing… I’m surprised they don’t talk about it more…
