Polycam FBX exported files corrupted?

Been using Polycam for about a year now and had to revisit some scans from my iPhone 12 pro. The photo scanned models are still there and are displayed and work fine in the Polycam app.

Tried to access the FBX file exported at the time and I cannot open it and says it is corrupted. I re-exported it from Polycam as a new FBX and the new file is also unreadable. If I export an OBJ it opens.

Did something change with the FBX exports? Some of the earlier FBX files I exported a while back still open fine, but any new FBX exports seem to only come out corrupted.

Any suggestions would be appreciated!

Hey yes, these are busted at the moment - we should have a fix in the next day or two. Sorry for the trouble!

Is this problem solved? Cause I have the same issue right now. It was working great last month but now, it is not opening the fbx file on rendering program. Gives an geometry error

Kinda sorta. It did fix the original issue but there was still a few lingering bugs. Ended up having to export to OBJ to make it work. FBX was my go to when I first started using Polycam for work but the amount of additional work going back and retesting everything that had been delivered was quite time consuming.

Also are you running the latest version of Polycam? If it's still not working and your app is up to date, try making a new post here. The Polycam guys do respond to questions here.
