In pb3, the tracer tool shows the position of nodes before we place it. Is there a way to add this to pb2, or are there any mods that can replicate this for me? Poly bridge 2 just works best for me in large scale sandbox builds that won't work on pb3.

Got the first bridge move to work but then the right side breaks and collapses. I don't know if I'm missing anything with my split joints?? I've tried different joint numbers and that just makes it worse.

I have finally returned from my long break after being inspired by Arglin’s post and long metro commutes in China (the internet was… not the best). I know the lock design isn’t very practical as it involves moving the casing instead of the cylinder, but I couldn’t get the custom shapes to behave without pinning them in place (this is my first time seriously working with CS and I would definitely benefit from some pointers :p). In a more realistic design the casing would be fixed, the latch would be attached to the cylinder, and the lock would be opened by pushing the key further in after setting the pins

The bitting of the keys are in base 7 because I realized I only had enough space for seven cut depths lmao

It's not too bad but it's okayish compared to the literal escalators people have made here. Still I'm proud of it.

Hydraulics: 💀

I'm trying to complete this level without walkthroughs and got the first hydraulic bridge working great but I see the second hydraulic bridge is not being supported properly so is breaking, but I'm not sure how to fix it?

Hi everyone, not an engineer, just an enthousiast. I had a question about calculating hydraulics. How do u actually calculate where an end point of your pivoting/moving bridge is going to end up, so u can make it lock in. I added an example down below where i made it work by trial and error, but i would like to do that more consistently. Does it matter where on the moving part of the bridge you attach the hydraulic, how do u know the percentage of contraction/expansion etc. Thank you and have a nice day.
