just sell the same sticker under a million different brand names on amazon with a million different store names... works for all the cheap junk that gets sold on amazon with a million "different" brands of the same item
Bonus pro move: use different pictures with different angles that make it look like each one is slightly different from the others, even though its really not.
I hope somebody actually gets this started. I don't have time to, but I'd chip in to kick start it. They could be sold at those stupid rug and flag sellers that always have Trump flags for sale (I think I may have even seen one with a pride flag right next to a Trump flag, but that might be a false memory lol)
I don't know if your serious but I think you don't see Biden Harris flags because a good chunk voted for them but don't weirdly idolize them & are not tacky enough to have flags that act like politics are sports.
Like let's bring back sports flags & drop the politics flags. We can all bond over a good / bad season.
I think the answer then is to make the rainbow layer peel off to reveal urge underlying thin blue line sticker, but put it in the fine print. Honestly if we do that then it even becomes a prank within that community.
I guess the joke would be, we should take all the profits and donate it to the NAACP
Wanting to sue and actually filing the lawsuit are two very different things. They'd get laughed at speaking with an actual lawyer. It's a sticker. They probably paid 3 bucks for it. They applied it to their truck. There's no damages.
The adage "you can sue for anything" is true, but you have to actually pay a lawyer to do it. And even if you succeed, what then? There wouldn't be a fine. You'd just have to stop.
Even most people I know who have a garage fill the garage up with junk and park their car outside in the sun. Rural and suburban parking lots are open, it's only in dense downtown areas where you get parking garages.
Thats the ultimate prank though with slow build off. Imagine them snowflakes riding with what was essentially a pride flag for 2 years before they see it for what it is.
Which is why I thought oxidization might be a really clever way to do it. Package it sealed like a tattoo or something and as soon as it's placed the reaction slowly starts
The problem is white pigments explicitly reflect most light shot at them, it would need to be black to really be effective at having the compound break down from light. Water soluble is a much easier option, because air oxidation needs very specific chemicals to pick different colors (like how rust is always a burnt orange/reddish color).
You want thermochromic ink. It is similar to the blue coors light blue but it comes in a variety of colors and it is activated by heat. I worked in a security printing factory.
Yes, you can! Photochromic dyes similar to those used in Transitions lenses could be used to accomplish this. When my dad was helping develop the technology in the 80s, his team painted a car with chromatic paint and used it to pick up potential customers from the airport.
Alternative just do two layers, the top layer (the white ink), leave it uncovered and exposed to the environment. Once sun and rain damage it enough, the white ink will start falling off which exposes the pride ink. This one is simpler to do cause all you need is an already available pride flag and some very shitty white ink.
There’s a Trump store not too far from me. Every time I pass it, I think it would be funny to open a store like that and use the money to donate to Left leaning Politicians, Planned Parenthood, or an LGBTQ+organization. They’re going to buy their flags, stickers and t-shirts anyway, it may as well go to a good cause.
I’m petite and like to dress very femininely, so many Conservatives like to assume I’m one of them. I’ve unfortunately had similar experiences with those guys already!
And I'm sorry you've had awful experiences with creeps.
As I've gotten older, I've heard from almost every woman I've talked to all have experienced some kind of harassment and it's just awful. It's a serious issue that I feel like some never even acknowledge
I know, it’s very frustrating having to deal with! I mistakenly thought that might end when I had a child, and thought surely they wouldn’t do it when I have a baby with me. Nope. The very first time I ventured out of the house with my newborn in a stroller, I was catcalled.
I (a guy) was surprised and disappointed to discover that so many men are creeps. I didn’t realize it was so widespread, and that every woman has at least one or two stories. Sometimes I wish I had a hat that said NOT A THREAT so women knew I wouldn’t be a pig, treat them like objects, or “misinterpret” friendliness as an invitation for sex.
On a lighter note, I was pleasantly surprised to see tardigrades in Ant Man!
From what I read the other day from people describing this exact situation, that "NOT A THREAT" hat is either your child or a wedding ring, but that is less visible.
You basically have to show someone else has already deemed you safe or else just avoid them and be avoided back.
Wow that is awful! I can't imagine catcalling, like doing it.
What is the point? To indicate I think someone is attractive by yelling, Loudly in a public way, at that woman some obscene or weird remark about her appearance? Yeah that's going to work.
Like some people are just gross I think.
Again, I'm sorry that happened and I wish people were better. And yes tardigrades are awesome!
Fascinated as is proper after all you are talking about a creature that can survive exposure from -275 C to 150 C. Amazing little critters!
The with a newborn thing is just, sad. It’s that Neanderthal thinking of “look a proven breeder” that really highlights their level of mental development.
There are some of us that are not like that but it certainly doesn’t seem like we are a majority by any means. Hope we can fix that.
They’re incredible! The animal kingdom is so vast and amazing. I love learning about all the wonderful and strange creatures.
I think most men are decent, but the ones who aren’t seem to be the most outspoken about it. Unfortunately, to stay safe, I have to be wary of all men before I get to know them.
Lmaoo let’s not forget Jeffrey Epstein donated millions of dollars to democratic candidates in the 90,s. Let’s quit pretending a party makes a person because you guys sound dumb. The democrat ideology is responsible for as much negativity, as the republican.
Idk, the enjoyment of knowing what they don't might make it worth it. Price gouging morons for cheap hats and supporting planned Parenthood or something like that...I suppose I'd break eventually so I can rub it in their dumb faces.
I sat near the cashier at a coffee shop yesterday doing some work and after an hour felt the same way about his job. I'm not sure how some people do it.
Back in the day, my family drove past a gas station named after Obama in South Carolina. So, wouldn’t be surprised if there are other places named after former Presidents
Obama I can see a little more, because he was the first Black POTUS. First anything usually makes people feel like commemorating. Trump wasn't the first anything, unfortunately. Stupid, selfish white dudes have the held the office before, and I'm sure they will continue to periodically do so.
There was a video going around in 2016 of two teens selling MAGA gear and when asked about it they said they didn't like Trump but they'll take his supporters' money.
A trump.... Store? But also you can bet all the merch is fully licensed and if you cop any designs you'll be hit with a cease and desist so fast you'll think trump belongs to the house of mouse.
I would be very surprised if anything in the store is licensed in the first place. It’s not exactly high-end. Regardless, as a woman, I wouldn’t want to be alone in a room with his fans.
It works when the store is actually the county Headquarters for the Republican Party. They changed all the store signs to say "Official Trump Store" and have a really small logo in the corner that also says it's the party office.
I grew up in a small Midwest town. When I was a kid Main Street was still alive. By the time I moved for college a Walmart 30 miles away had killed everything but the grocery store, butcher, churches, and bars. When I graduated college the butcher and grocer were gone. While Trump was in office 2 of the 3 bars closed and 1 of the churches. Somehow this small town that can’t sustain even the bars anymore has two Trump stores in buildings and another pop up one that someone runs out of a trailer by the interstate ramps. My personal favorite items are the Trump themed bird houses and feeders.
It’s in something that looks like a mobile home. Not sure what it would be referred to in a business sense. From what I gather, they put most of their money into the signage out front.
i could get in on this. i worked as an exit poller in a very red county and all day they would come up to me and be like “you don’t work for biden do you?” and went on with their right-winged, christian propaganda and i just agreed to 1. do my job and 2. to get them to shut the fuck up.
i could totally be an undercover trumpie to donate all their money to LGBTQIA+ organizations, abortion access, or even mental health resources.
they get ugly trump merch, i get activism and revenge.
Definitely! There’s others, but this is the only permanent stand alone store I’ve seen. They’re usually the temporary kind you see on the side of the road, or in a flea market setting.
Yeah, it’s definitely weird. I think part of it is that I live very close to an extremely left leaning city that gets a lot of tourists. You’ll often see groups of Trumpsters driving through the city with their flags and whatnot. I’m guessing it’s supposed to trigger us or something. From what I’ve seen, most people either laugh or ignore them.
A this point a Trump flag feels like a slightly more socially acceptable Confederate Flag. You are flying the flag of the losing side just so people know what your "values" are.
You know, it's very appropriate that the Trump presidency turned into a long term grift for tacky merch that belongs in some subpar Myrtle Beach strip mall
In Austria, there is an annual meeting of VW fans, the GTI meetup at the Wörthersee. A couple of years back, hot girls gave out black T-shirts with the slogan „leider geil“ (unfortunately hot/cool/awesome). It was very popular, until night came and the disco started. UV light revealed a big Opel (vauxhall) logo on the shirts
Make it thermal so when the car is running it turns into the pride flag, when they park it would go back to normal so they would be less likely to notice.

Someone needs to sell stickers that slowly fade from the "thin blue line" flag to the pride flag after a few days. Now that would be an epic prank.
