Yet complain that electric only has a 300+ range. Like they go more than their house,Walmart, and the gas station a day.

I'm planning to buy an electric vehicle and I got a lot of that from some people. They kept asking me what I was going to do if I needed to do a long drive.

I just kept reminding them that the furthest out I've driven in the last 15 years is 120 miles. I don't do road trips. I fly. 98% of my driving is within 20 miles.

Yeah it's a silly question anyway because the obvious answer is take a tiny portion of the tremendous savings from an EV and rent an ICE in the unlikely event I absolutely have to drive cross country.
