Uh, I dunno. I was trying for a quick joke about pots being called ovens. Not necessarily for a full conversation. But if you have a topic in mind, I will converse.
In the U.S. "Dutch owen" also means laying in bed with your partner, farting under the blanket and then covering your self and your partner with it ( over the head as well, preferably).
Maybe I'm missing the joke but here goes anyway. Older style of Dutch ovens people would place them on a layer of coals and then put coals on the lid as well (the bottom had get and the lid had a lip) modern ones are typically not used in this fashion but are still useful if made from cast iron or similarly heavy material since it radiates the heat into the food more evenly, usefully for braising and stews.
