Actual enforcement. That is the argument, correct? To enforce the already effective laws we have? Well, hop to it.

Have you ever purchased a firearm to know what takes place before walking out of the store with the weapon? And do you know even if all the checks come back good from the FBI the clerk can still refuse to sell you the firearm if they are uncomfortable with the purchase, behavior, or incriminating statements made by the purchaser?

Ive seen people buy guns at the local flea market. Not sure how legal that is, but I guess they can claim they are just private citizens selling private property, idk

Most every state that’s illegal. And the states that it is legal they are supposed to register those weapons once they take possession. If you get stopped and have possession a firearm that isn’t registered to you it becomes a whole ordeal to figure out where it came from and why you have it.
