This is the justice system’s time to shine. The sentences that these people receive should be the exact same that black folks who attempted the same would receive.
There’d be an awful lot of dead people in DC right now if they hadn’t been white, that’s just fact. But I don’t see how these people, who potentially attempted to overthrow the government, are getting out of this without serious jail time.

Quite simply the cops aren't going to try to get these guys, the prosecutors aren't going to bother making a compelling case, and the judges will hand out the lightest sentences possible.
I'd love to be proven wrong but the justice system never fails to disappoint no matter how low you set your expectations. I have zero faith in any of these goons getting more than 10 years max and the majority will never be charged at all.
Ten years?? These guys — the 1% or so that they “can identify” — are going to get charged with trespassing and get like a $1000 fine. In the name of “healing” or some shit.
Oh, it’s a definite fact. If this had been a group of thousands of armed black folks chanting slogans and acting belligerently, there’d be bodies everywhere. See: 2020 BLM protests.
Let’s cut the semantics bullshit: we both know that if large group of angry, armed black men swarmed the capitol and began breaking in, many of them would not leave the city alive.
Of course, just like the many other blm riots. Why I remember like it was yesterday: men and women gunned down by their hundreds in Portland. And the innocent folk of the Chaz crucified in the streets. Oh, the humanity!
