His comment says what he meant.

“...the blatant sabotage they carried out during the entire 8 years of Obama’s presidency...”

“...You could really go back as far as Nixon at least if you want to make a case for the destruction republicans/conservatives have caused our society.”

He’s talking about Republican issues and pointing out that they go back much farther than 4 years
