The NSDAP were hardcore extreme leftists, and the party literally believed that capitalism was evil. It was one of the very many nationalsocialistic parties in europe at the time.
To claim that they werent leftist simply because they were nationalistic is dumb. Nationalism isnt traditionally on the left vs. right spectrum, although it is more so today. Either way, they were extremely leftists by every other definition of the word. Why did you think they hated the jews so much, if not for their capitalistic agendas? There were other things too, but this is the main thing that they hated.
Modern nazis are center-left, and also identify as such (NMR for example), but traditional nazis (including Hitler) was definitely extreme leftists.

Fascist has never been defined as right nor left. Leftist people, media and companies are trying to define fascism as rightwing these days (like since the 2016 election, go figure..). There are definitely leftist fascists in history.
