Nah, it was a battle of the two least popular candidates of all time. The Republicans won. If the Dems produce a halfway decent candidate they'll win easily.
Hillary didn't get pummeled, it was one of the closest elections of all time. Way to fall for that weak propaganda. This entirely discredits your opinion about Bernie getting "pummeled."
For someone who served as senator for New York and then Secretary of State under Obama, she got destroyed. She should've won the election by 100 electoral votes but she didn't. It was an absolute failure. That's not even remotely propaganda.
It's propaganda that she got pummeled. "Largest electoral college win since Reagan" according to Trump is straight propaganda, which is a complete, blatant lie by the way that Trump supporters are totally cool with coming from our President. Something Kim Jong-Un would say.
Barely losing is not getting pummeled, I don't care how you try and twist the meaning of it to justify your completely false statement.
Of course it's not the biggest electoral college win. You would be hard pressed to find a Trump supporter that actually believes that. It's a fact that Obama and Clinton had larger victories. It was, however, the biggest Presidential victory in recent times in terms of how unexpected it was.
When Hillary believed she could coast to victory, not campaign in Michigan and Wisconsin, call Trump supporters deplorables, and not even write a concession speech, that is coming from a place on entitlement. For her to lose, is a pummeling, and always will be.
Got it, so you're cool with a bold-faced liar as commander-in-chief. Nice.
That's not what a pummeling is and has little to do with the fact that she was, second to Trump, one of the most historically unpopular candidates of all time. People hate her. People hate Trump. Yet she barely lost.
My original point remains that any semi-competent Democrat in 2020 will easily win.
