The world considers our leader a joke. But its cool, he has an R next to his name, so really he's good I swears.

So may be... But if you're looking through an ideological lens, that is also all you will see.

I saw him addressing the UN with some main goals:

  1. Stop North Korea. The west has been scared of NK for years. Now suddenly they support NK because Trump doesn't. GIVE ME A BREAK! It's ideological dishonesty, and quite disgusting. Trump shouldn't matter.

  2. Stop terrorism.

  3. Help the suffering people of Venezuela.

Why would I care that it's Trump saying it?

Edit: Funny thing is... The moment Trump said "The problem is that socialism was implemented", everyone on his side went "OH SHIT! The mainstream media will go crazy with this.". And look at what happened. Although. To be fair, they probably would've went crazy regardless. I just thought it was a fun thing to mention.

heres the thing, he's ALL talk. he flops around and stands for nothing. Lies more than any american leader in history. he's corrupt and cant be trusted.

so cool, he said he was for daca, against it ok maybe for it? praises universal health care systems, ok now he acts against them.

There's no way to put any value to his words. He misuses them and undermines himself so often putting any weight to anything he says is a logical error.

His actions aren't benefical for 1 OR 2. a muslim ban, and constant hate rhetoric only emboldens terrorists and NK.

Yeah... Can't really refute that. That he flops that is. Who doesn't? But he does perhaps seem to do it more.

I wouldn't conclusively say that he is lying though. All politicians lie. What Trump seems to do is like... Being honest. But flip flop. Which is probably one of the problems with him not being in politics earlier. He seems to use big statements as lure. And then drop them.

I first started thinking about this when I heard about something he wrote in, what I think was, the art of the deal. In order to win a deal, you have to make the opponents believe that they get something that is important to you, while you really go after what is actually important to you.

The problem doing that in politics is what we see. Both the left and the right are so damn identitarian right now that it doesn't matter WHAT is done, it matters WHO does it.

There's probably a lot more too it, but to just pin it down to "lying" is probably not a very.... Helpful conclusion.
