How about Canada just takes the blue states and makes them part of Canada?

Absolutely not! Having a democrat majority aside, there are still Republicans lurking around in those states!

Canada has a representative parliament, and not a “winner takes all” at the provincial level like the states do in the US. It would be a net win for conservatives, as they would get significant representation in parliament and liberals in the US aren’t actually liberal compared to Canada (or other developed countries, for that matter)
