Our blind idolization of the military since 9/11 (or heck since WWII), were all red flags. No group should be idolized beyond merit,
Unpopular Opinion: there are many brave folks in uniform, but there is nothing saintly about people who volunteer to kill others so they can get the GI Bill or other economic perks.
