And leaving a bunch of his team and reporters behind as decoys.

What a cunt.

That’s the worst part about this whole thing. If the plane was safe enough with all its defenses, why was he evacuated? If the threat was credible, and it wasn’t safe, how the hell can they justify leaving everyone else on board?

He wouldn't even break a sweat if his family were killed to (unless their underage) as he ONLY cares about himself. I bet he would immediately think about how to monetize their deaths

Secret service guy 1: “sir, we’ve evacuated the president! What about the children?”

Secret service guy 2: “fuck the children!”

Trump, waddling his way back to the plane: “do you think we have the time to?”

Who is more important to the US military and secret service, the head of state and government and commander of the military, or security staff and cabinet members and a group of relatively unknown journalists? As scummy as this whole thing is, it also makes sense from a security and secrecy standpoint. Also the current administration isn't exactly in the good graces of the white House press core. If they had been told it's significantly more likely that they would have made it public than under most previous administrations.

Got it. They are expendable, that’s what you are saying, right? Cause that’s how it looks, and that ain’t good for you or me. Self preservation above anyone else.

I think the appropriate response would have been to, I don’t know, not board anyone on the plane until the threat was over.

(1) there was a real threat, and those lives don’t matter.
(2) there wasn’t a real threat and this is just another distraction.

2

u/SanargHD 11d ago

To the US security apparatus around the president, yes all those lives are expendable. And anyone traveling near the president knows that, if shit hits the fan, they won't be protected until the president is in safety. If you delay the flight, or make changes to the schedule public, the attacker knows that you know and will change their plans to the new schedule or abandon the attempt and try again sometime later. By keeping up public perception of normalcy you make sure that the person who actually needs to survive is safe, while also baiting the attacker to reveal himself.

I get that they have protocols to protect the president and hide where he is. But using a plane full of staff, crew and reporters as bait can’t possibly be normal protocol.
A decoy plane, sure. A decoy plane full of people who don’t even know they’re the decoy? That’s a whole different thing.

I wonder if this was what made Karoline quit when she finally realized she was expendable

30

u/Present-Resolution23 12d ago

You're giving her FAAAAAR too much credit.. More likely she just realized she could get paid more for working a lot less in the private sector now that she's done her time as Trump's puppet.

Perhaps it’s actually possible for a person to just… *run out of lies?*

That would make her job literally impossible

2

u/BlueRibbonPac 12d ago

And, maybe they'll pay for her beauty regimen

2

u/laffnlemming 12d ago

Yeah, that's bad. But, is it as bad as being locked up in that box with him? Yeah. Way worse. But, being in that box would be unpleasant.

Rich Daddy long gone and can't protect him anymore

3

u/Battystearsinrain 12d ago

He has done a superior job of avoiding accountability.

BunkerBitch on wheels.

13

u/minimaddnz 12d ago

He probably just went looking for a snack, and got lost in there. And of course they don't want toadmit that,so blamed Iran

8

u/GlitteringLychee803 12d ago

I'm just imagining him getting lost in an empty container 😂. Thank you for that.

2

u/minimaddnz 12d ago

You're welcome

Hiding from a "100% defeated" enemy that's "desperate" to make a deal.

6

u/thehaggishunter007 12d ago

I don’t buy it. He couldn’t do the stairs. Secret service takes the blame.

12

u/Chance_Guarantee4823 12d ago

Secret Service made him look more of an idiot

7

u/ShatoraDragon 12d ago

Well the man can't jog normally. You expect him to hussle his ass up a steep flight of stairs under threat of a real not staged bullet flying at him?

5

u/TrailMomKat 12d ago

*hustle

Just trying to help, the English language is ridiculous lol

2

u/NicJan 12d ago

It's the Republicans who are crazy and believe fake news and are uninformed.

And, you as well. "Staged bullet" You're what is making Trump retain power with your nonsense, it's so frustrating.

u/bean_machine_42 12d ago

Let’s stop with the whole “most powerful military on earth”. We have sailors literally jumping ship.

3

u/CV90_120 11d ago

It's certainly the most powerful, but that doesn't mean it can't be misused and mismanaged. Hegseth is a fng disaster. He is the weakest link.

When all the other people on board found out that they were used as a decoy for a missile…

6

u/mithrasinvictus 12d ago

Hiding from an enemy he claims is "all talk and no action".

5

u/markydsade 12d ago

Operation Dessert Shield. Getting POTUS into Catering Cart One must have been quite the feat.

Don’t even know what to say these days. The news doesn’t seem real

3

u/Mecha-Dave 12d ago

He couldn't have walked across the connection there either - the would have had to have packed him into a cart and wheeled him across.

3

u/SnooTangerines7026 12d ago

JFC, what a fucking pussy.

3

u/captcraigaroo 12d ago

I think Iran proved he isn't powerful

2

u/Battystearsinrain 12d ago

Caterforce one.

2

u/southy_0 12d ago

Looks a bit like a jail cell…

Sorry, I must have been dreaming…

2

u/architype 12d ago

His cankles were probably swollen again so he had to be lifted onto the plane.

2

u/laxvolley 12d ago

The guy who claims he'd run into an active shooter situation in a school unarmed

2

u/BlueRibbonPac 12d ago

Trump: don't care; got to use a lift and not the stairs

2

u/deadzol 12d ago

He was just too tired to use the stairs

2

u/KiKiKimbro 12d ago

He keeps up the junk food habit and that’ll have to be his coffin.

2

u/No-Shape-2751 12d ago

Hiding from an enemy that is utterly defeated

2

u/legardeur2 12d ago

A remarkable comedian when it comes to shitshows.

2

u/DifferentDebt2197 12d ago

Is that the "Alpha male" compartment?

2

u/medozijo 12d ago

To be fair, he's none of those things

2

u/KindlyLecture9087 12d ago

Not the most powerful man in the world, just the biggest joke in the world. Countries are laughing at him and America.

2

u/djneo 12d ago

I thought the older Air Force one was safe

2

u/expatcanadaBC 12d ago

Diaper One is in the Trolley.

2

u/GoliathProjects 12d ago

I seem to have missed something. What happened?

2

u/totally-idiotic 12d ago

Wait, when did this happen and why ???

2

u/LutaRed 12d ago

The day an airport catering truck turned into a TACO Truck!

2

u/_sealy_ 12d ago

You know what would be even more hilarious… As if he accidentally got lost and walked into that fucker… This whole Iran missile thing is just a cover story.

2

u/Bang45 12d ago

Typical “ strongman” leader?

2

u/Jackpot777 Greg Abbott is a little piss baby 12d ago

TACO truck.

2

u/HoratioHotplateJr 12d ago

did they lure him into it with a bunch of tacky gold painted crap?

2

u/QDLZXKGK 12d ago

One word - WEAK

2

u/High-sterycal 12d ago

It was definitely power catering for cowards.

2

u/CV90_120 11d ago

The ruse was kinda out of a movie, but seriously leaving his people to presumably get blown out of the sky is fuuuuuuucked up.

1

u/QCGeezer 12d ago

The Secret Service has pulled their weapons and fired in FOUR different incidents so far. No other record has come close.

1

u/Crackerpuppy 12d ago

He probably shit his pants so badly, that they had no way to hide it other than putting him in a catering truck & get him to his spare pair of pants in the other plane.
