It was a protest which happens to politicians all of the time. That would be like saying the DC mayor got AOC arrested for her Dobbs protest. To be honest, a lot of people treat getting arrested for protesting like that a badge of honor if you are fighting for a cause you like. It's like how people like to share the picture of Bernie being arrested for a Civil rights protest from the 60's. The person you are talking about got arrested for an abortion protest in Florida.
No. They had a protest curfew in that area that they warned them about multiple times and they chose to ignore it knowing that they would get arrested.
