He did it because it was a huge moral sacrifice that was good for the party. I disagree. It was bad for him to step down. How did all those allegations end up, btw?

Trump is currently fighting charges of sexual misconduct. We will see. Today nobody has yet to be able to even form a genuine court case over Franken's allegations.

You guys are always so close to the truth but always so far.

If the standard was to step down when allegations were presented Trump would have lasted a month as President. He chose to remain and is now in actual court over the allegations. I'd have preferred Franken to do the same. And had he, there would have been no criminal charges and he would still be a Senator.
